That morning I went to lunch with my mom at a place called The Greenery. Wasn't too bad, but I doubt I'd go there again. We sat and talked for a while which was nice, and then we headed out to get my birthday cake! It was YUMMY! I was a white cake with raspberry filling and a lemon non dairy frosting! To DIE for :D (hmm I could go for a peice right now :P). After that I talked her into taking me out to a home decor place called Tai Pan Trading and I had a blast just wandering that store for literally 3 hours! Lol, of course I got a few things :). As soon as Kyle got home we did cake and icecream and the whole shebang and then Kyle took me to Hastings where I got a couple movies and a new book (YAY :D). All in all a good day!
Thursday kinda sucked. My mother-in-law took me out to get my hair done with her and it was a disaster!!! The lady was suppposed to put a few weaved highlights/streaks in it and then do a trim and omg what she did... was a nightmare! The streaks turned out ORANGE! And not only were they orange but they were uneven and blotchy and just hideous! I hate to nit pick and I'm usually not very picky but oh my heck I was so disappointed... so aside from the color, my "trim" turned out to be a hack job of about 4 inches off >_< my hair just now barely reaches my bra on my back. I could CRY!!! It used to almost touch my butt, and I had been growing it out for many many years.... so anywho, I wasnt able to tell the damage until I got home and dryed it and such... I was too embarrased to call Donna and tell her about it so I had Kyle take me to the salon where my normal chick works and have her fix it! It cost me $95 to fix :( but on the upside, Jen can work wonders with hair and color! Thank god for her haha. Well heres what it looks like now:
